On November 16, 2024, Rosa Foundation collaborated with the Guilford County Partnership for Children, the Family Support Network of Central Carolina, and the Center of Excellence for Integrative Health Disparities and Equity Research (CIHDER) at North Carolina A&T State University to host Dah-ve’s Superhero Run Walk Health Fair at the beautiful Country Park facilities. Other participants included the My Pharmacy mobile health unit that provided free screenings, Cognosante with Healthcare.gov information, the NC A&T School of Nursing, Magnolia’s Cafe with fresh hot chocolate and coffee, Aggie Live Wire who brought lots of energy, Fanatic Face Painting by Rycal Blount, and the Aggie Media Group who provided exclusive event coverage.
Our special guest, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, from the legendary hip hop group Run DMC, assisted in kicking off the run walk with a special message prior to the countdown. We appreciate all the support and participation and look forward to next year’s event.
