On the afternoon of November 16, 2024, children and adults received a special story time treat at the downtown Central Public Library in Greensboro. Rosa Foundation hosted a Book Reading & Signing with authors Darryl “DMC” McDaniels and Margo Ford Crosby.
Hip-hop pioneer and legacy artist DMC read from his book DARRYL’S DREAM, that speaks to courage and celebrating individuality.
Educator Margo Crosby read from her book MIRROR’S UP, that provides affirmations, self-love, and empowerment.
Following a book reading, the audience enjoyed interacting with both authors during the signing event. The Guilford County Partnership for Children was also on hand to provide additional literacy resources for children and their families.
