Youth Culinary Program & Financial Literacy Classes

Rosa Foundation is partnering with Aunt E’s CHARITY Network to teach youth (all ages) culinary best practices. Under the guidance of a professional chef, students learn kitchen fundamentals, techniques, and safety while learning to prepare healthy meals. There is additional instruction about STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and hydroponic (vertical) gardening. Financial literacy classes provide instruction on money management, budgeting, marketing, and entrepreneurship.

All classes are held at Aunt E’s Southern Cuisine restaurant, located at 2618 Lawndale Drive in Greensboro. Culinary classes are held Monday evenings. Financial literacy and entrepreneurship classes are held Wednesday evenings.
